The Service

HoloDex is a next-generation trading card collection management platform. Our Service allows users to:

• Instantly scan, identify, and organize trading cards
• Access real-time market prices
• Manage and share personal collections
• Explore content and offers relevant to trading card games ("TCGs")

We offer a variety of features tailored to collectors, including personalization, analytics, and social components to enhance the hobby experience.

We use technology, insights, and content curation to recommend items, features, and updates that help you get the most out of the collecting experience. This includes personalized discovery tools, community features, and promotional content that may be tailored based on your in-app activity.

Eligibility and User Commitments

You must be at least 13 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction to use HoloDex. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account and login credentials
• Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms
• Not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Only use HoloDex for lawful collecting-related purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.

Acceptable Use

To maintain a safe and inclusive community, users agree not to:

• Share or promote religious, political, or explicit content unrelated to TCG collecting
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property rights
• Misuse, interfere with, or disrupt the functionality or security of the Service
• Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service without permission
• Trade, sell, or license any HoloDex account or user data

We reserve the right to remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts that breach these conditions.

Camera Scanning

The camera scanning feature allows users to identify cards by using their device's camera. By using this feature, you:

• Grant permission to access your camera solely for the purpose of card scanning
• Acknowledge that scan results depend on image quality and accuracy is not guaranteed

Scanned images may be temporarily stored on our servers for processing. We do not sell or share scanned images except as necessary to provide the Service or comply with legal obligations. The images remain your property.

The feature is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

Content Ownership and License

You retain ownership of content you post or upload, including images, descriptions, and collection details. By submitting content, you grant HoloDex a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to:

• Host, display, modify, distribute, and promote your content in connection with the Service

This license ends when your content is deleted. Content may still be visible in backups or retained where legally required or if used by others consistent with their license rights.

We may use your username, profile photo, and interaction history to highlight offers, featured content, or community activity within HoloDex. This may include sponsored content or promotional features tailored to your preferences.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content and code provided by HoloDex, including but not limited to the logo, branding, UI design, software architecture, and proprietary technology, belongs to Mavelli FZCO. You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or extract source code
• Use our trademarks, visuals, or domain names without written consent
• Create derivative works without permission

Promotions & Giveaways

From time to time, Mavelli FZCO ("we", "our", or "Holodex") may offer promotional giveaways, sweepstakes, or contests (collectively referred to as "Giveaways") to users. Participation in any such Giveaway is subject to these Terms & Conditions and the specific rules, eligibility criteria, and prize details outlined in the official announcement of the promotion (e.g. on our website, app, email, or social media channels).

Eligibility

Giveaways are open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older unless otherwise stated in the promotion. Certain Giveaways may be restricted by region or jurisdiction due to local regulations. Employees, contractors, and affiliates of Mavelli FZCO and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

No Purchase Necessary

Participation in a Giveaway does not require any purchase or payment. Making a purchase, including subscribing to Holodex PRO, does not increase your chances of winning.

How to Enter

Users may be entered into a Giveaway automatically by completing certain in-app actions, such as subscribing to Holodex PRO, or through a free alternative entry method.

Free Entry Option:

To enter without a subscription or payment, send a postcard with the following details:

• Your full name
• Email address
• Country of residence
• The answer to the skill-testing question: What is 4 + 3?

Mail the postcard to:

All free entries must be postmarked and received before the giveaway deadline stated in the corresponding promotion. Late or incomplete entries will not be eligible.

Prizes

Prizes will be clearly described in the specific giveaway promotion. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash unless stated otherwise. Mavelli FZCO reserves the right to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value.

Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries unless otherwise specified in the promotion. Winners will be contacted via the method used during entry (such as email or in-app notification). If a winner does not respond within the timeframe specified in the promotion, an alternate winner may be selected.

Shipping, Taxes, and Customs

Mavelli FZCO will cover standard shipping costs for physical prizes. Winners are responsible for any taxes, customs duties, or import fees required by their local jurisdiction. We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damage caused during shipping.

Data Use and Privacy

By entering a Giveaway, participants agree that their personal data may be collected and used solely for the purposes of verifying eligibility, contacting winners, and delivering prizes. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR where relevant.

Skill-Testing Questions

Where legally required (such as in Canada), winners may need to correctly answer a skill-testing question before receiving their prize.

Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any participant who violates our Terms, submits false information, or attempts to manipulate the outcome of a Giveaway. We also reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any Giveaway in case of technical issues, fraud, or other circumstances beyond our control.

User Goods and Marketplace Activity

Users may sell or trade TCG-related goods within the HoloDex platform. We do not guarantee the quality, authenticity, or fulfillment of these transactions. Disputes are the responsibility of the involved users.

If we identify abuse, scams, or violations, we reserve the right to restrict selling privileges or suspend accounts.

Third-Party Content and Services

HoloDex may contain links or integrations with third-party platforms, tools, or content. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or content of third-party services.

Use of such services is at your own risk and governed by their respective terms.

Termination, Account Disabling, and Content Removal

We may remove content or suspend access if:

• You violate these Terms, our community standards, or applicable laws
• Your activity poses a legal, reputational, or security risk to us or others
• We are required by law or regulation to do so

You may delete your account at any time. Deletion requests begin processing within 30 days and may take up to 90 days to complete, including removal from backups.

We may retain some data as permitted by law in cases such as:

• Legal investigations
• Enforcement of these Terms
• Technical limitations in deletion systems

Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that features will operate without interruption, error, or security vulnerabilities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages related to your use of the Service.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mavelli FZCO, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• Your use of HoloDex
• Your content or transactions
• Violation of these Terms or applicable laws

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our Service or legal obligations. When we do, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance.
